Watch the Replay of the Remote Agile Practices & Tools Live Virtual Class

At the end of March, we ran a Remote Agile Practices & Tools class with about 30 participants from all over Europe, the Eastern Seaboard, and Canada. The participants agreed on recording it and make it available to the agile community. We edited the recording slightly; for example, we removed the waiting time during the exercise timeboxes. Otherwise, the video accurately reflects how one way of collaborating with a distributed team using Zoom breakout rooms may work.

The Learning Path of the Remote Agile Class

The Remote Agile Practices and Tools class is based on a Liberating Structures string, starting with Impromptu Networking. During the introduction, the participants were also tasked to take notes on why their last conversation partner attended the class in the first place. We then used this information to aggregate and cluster a list of challenges the participants as a whole are facing the moment. (We used the Lean Coffee format for this purpose while working on a Fun Retro.io board.) Once the issues were clustered and ranked, we created six teams via Zoom breakout rooms to work on the six highest-ranking topics simultaneously, creating 15 % Solutions, which each team introduced then via Shift & Share to the whole class. We closed the class by attending to our parking lot.

Except for three teaching blocks of about 20 minutes in total, the whole Remote Agile Practices & Tools class of 2:45 hours comprised of interactive work:
